This is a easy and light buttercream. It also crusts very well.
- 1 cup of Crisco
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1 tbsp of vanilla
- 1 lb of powered sugar
- Cream the first two ingredients together, then add milk and vanilla. After that is mixed well, slowly add the powered sugar to it is mixed well.
Does your buttercream taste like "bakery" buttercream? Also, would using "butter flavor" crisco make a difference in the taste? thank you,
