I have made these a few times. No need to scrape the cream out of the oreos....just crush the cookies and mix into the cream cheese.

Also, I have found it is easier and they turn out more smooth if you freeze them before dipping them in the chocolate.

Try the Oreo mint as well for something different. I make both the regular oreo and mint every year and they are gone really quick!!! lol

HI I live in Durban (South Africa), what is almond bark, as we only have the baking chocolates here. Can I use the normal chocolate for this.

Nirisingh, yes you can use the baking chocolates. I just add a bit of parrifan wax to these. I have also tried the white chocolate with these and they are very dilicious. If you go on the net(try just putting in almond bark--it may show recipes on how to make or lead you to a online store to purchase from, or visit a candy store you can find the almond bark) If you have a Walmart close they should carry it in the baking isle right along side of the naking chips. Good luck.

I make these all the time. But I just buy any flavor sandwich cookie. Put them in foodprocesser mince up then add creamcheese and mix. After forming balls I refridgerate about 30 min. to set up befor dipping. I've used both white and chocolate bark to coat balls. If making more than one flavor I sprinkle toppings on top befor set to tell them apart. Like crushed penuts for penutbutter, red spinkels for strawberry, yellow for lemon, brown for chocolate. Everyone just loves them
