This cake is good for year round.

Banana Raisin Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced bananas
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

    1 Measure flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon, and salt, and sift together.

    2 Dice bananas and add to dry ingredients with oil ,vanilla, eggs, raisins, water, and nuts. Pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan.

    3 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 1/2 hour or until done. Cool on rack before removing.
