That is a really cool recipe!
This recipe tastes just like peanutbutter fudge. I am using it as a filling between a chocolate layer cake. My customers love reeses peanut butter cups and I think this combination will be a hit. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Do you have to refrigerate this?
Delicious! I'm never tempted to snack but this one I was eating the extras with a spoon.
My friend's birthday is this week and she loves the chocolate/peanut butter combo (who doesnt?)- I plan to test this out on her as a filling between two chocolate layers. Thanks for the recipe!
I was wondering how long a cake with this would be able to sit out? I'm making my cousins graduation cake and would love to use this recipe but am unsure if it will able to sit out for hours? Thanks for any input :)
has anyone tried how long this can sit out? I have a wedding coming up and she wants her bottom tier to be chocolate cake with PB filling.....can I do that with this cake for the time the wedding reception will be taking place?
Thank you for sharing this recipe...I used it to fill chocolate cupcakes and also frosted the cupcakes with this. What a hit! I was worried about leaving it out also so refrigerated them Friday to Sunday, served Sunday and have been out overnight and it is still holding up. I think you could leave it out for a day or so no problem.
Will this recipe crust smooth like butter cream? I was thinking of using it as the under layer for a poured ganache.
Wow, delicious. I think it's my new fav! :)
Wonderful filling! I torted 3, 9in. chocolate layers and it filled the six layers perfectly. Thanks for a most tasty peanut butter filling. Was also able to make a thin coat around the outside of the layers, then poured chocolate fudge glaze over the whole cake. Looks great!
i just made this recipe, it is absolutely delicious! Definitely going to be my go to PB frosting recipe.
