Some few of you wrote me, to share with recipe marzipan I use. In principle all my cakes I covered with this marzipan… only realy white cakes I covered with White Icing.
- 200g dry milk
- 200g icing sugar
- 3 spoon corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons almond flavour
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 cl water
My english is very bad. I live in Czech republik and the raw materials I use are certainly different you can buy. I use 200g dry milk, 200g icing sugar, 3 spoon corn syrup, 2 teaspoons almond flavour, 4 teaspoons vegetable oil, 2 cl water. It is necessary the dought good knead, if it is clinging to hands, it´s necessary hands wash, lihgtly wipe and again knead…. to finish – the dought should be soft like plasticine. Don´t add watter, only souse hands. I can´t better discribe the process… my apologies.
I believe the 200g is equal to just a hair over 1 3/4 cup. Or.44092452 LBS on a scale. And the water is only for wetting your hands to work the dough.
Is the corn syrup in Tablespoons then?
Thanks so much. This looks very interesting and I think your English is fantastic. I can't even say 'hallo' in your language!
