Darling Husbands’ Cake Ingredients 1/3 cup butter1 cup white sugar1 egg2 cups all-purpose flour1/4 teaspoon salt1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1/2 cup chopped walnuts1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 teaspoon ground allspice1 teaspoon ground nutmeg1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup1 cup chopped raisins Instructions 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Set aside. 2 Cream butter until it is soft and creamy. Add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. 3 Add flour mixture and tomato soup. mix gently until blended, but don’t overmix. Fold in nuts and raisins. 4 Spread batter into a 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 55 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
