Well this is just beautiful!!! But on my.... those cakes are really up there! I'm thinking home made stands here, using pcv pipe and heavy duty fixtures for strength. It's what my dh would come up with. This looks great!!!!

I had to comment on this cake. The most original idea I've seen in a long time. going straight to my favs.

Thank you for all the compliments, but the idea isn't an original. I got the idea from MailBox News a couple of years ago. My husband made my stand out of wooden thick dowels screwed into a wooden circle on top & bottom, then he also screw the bottom circle to the table. Yes, homemade s tands. Laling.
