I would like to understand how did you made this 1/2 ball for 2-8" round?Did you have to fill the top of the cake after carved on the sides?? Anyways..I thought of this idea WONDERFUL. The cake looks soooo good! So cute! I really like happy faces!Your butter cream looks perfect! I really liked the yellow..perfect color combo! Wow,...well, you can see I Liked it! lol
thanks everyone for the compliments! The smooth buttercream is a result of the VIVA!!! I used two 8" rounds, leveled one to use as the bottom and did NOT level the other...that one went on top. Then I carved around the top to make it more round and a little off the bottom, where it sits on the board, so it looked more like a ball. HTH.
