Ocean Themed Cake
Got the inspiration from a cake here. I am going to add some coral but it is still drying. I'm not completely happy with my paint job on the treasure chest. I was going for a rickety look and it just looks sloppy. Overall, I'm THRILLED with it though! It turned out great.
The jewels inside the box are jolly ranchers, gold is rolos, pearls are fondant in luster dust, and sea shells are chocolate. I marbled the chocolate with coloring and then molded to add a realistic look to the shells.

I forgot to add...top tier is pina colada with a pineapple, coconut, & macademia nut filling. Middle is chocolate with cannoli cream filling and covered in ganache. Bottom is butter with buttercream.

I love the blue waves of fondant against the white. You have every reason to be thrilled with your cake!
Thanks! The idea was that as the ocean gets deeper the blue gets darker and the waves get bigger. ;) The treasure chest was a last minute addition. I had some leftover cake that I decided to cut up and play with. Ended up carving it into the chest and it worked out well.
