The top was done by using the large flower former, royal icing makes the bands that are completely dry before you add your beads and sweet peas I made a 2- 2" cakes gave me at least 4 inches and a little space for the filling. Made them linger just in case the measurement was off, you can cut royal if you are careful but you can't add to it, better safe than sorry. thank you

This is really elegant. What did you use for the royal molds on the sides. How did you measure them to fit the sides of the cake?

wow, didn't see this when you posted it. I think we need to try royal icing more, this shows how spectacular it can be.
