Green Teapot
I was asked to do this on Wed and they needed it Friday in the am. It was for a Women's History and Awareness Function. And since it was the day before St. Pat's day, they were going with a green theme. This was my first teapot and I sure learned alot - like not do it in 36 hours!!! It's the Wilton sports ball pan and a 6" round in the middle. The cake itself is covered with MMF. The handle and spout are MMF with fixodent (that's all I had on hand for a last minute job). Then it was sprayed with pearl luste
I forgot to add that the flowers on the sides of the pot are RI using the brush embroidery technique.
very pretty and delicate looking...classy.
Wor, it's beautiful! I love the brush embroidery. I've never tried that.
it looks great!!!
beautiful!
beautiful cake-how did you adhere the handle? Any toothpicks?
The spout and the handle have dowel rods that were put in before they dried. Then that was inserted into the cake.
