This is an Chocolate Amaretto cake- made the Amaretto cake out of cake mix doctor and added about 5 tablespoons of cococa powder to it. I wanted to make this for work and thought I would try my hand at our new logo. I did it freehand since I did not have time to do a frozen BCT. Still working on my smoothing techniques- tried something different this time.

It was good, had a strong almond taste to it, everyone at work loved it. (That's how I got my new cake tester.) I used the buttercream recipe from cali4dawn and smoothed it with my metal spatula dipped into boiling hot water. Thanks! I think I am finally getting the hang of smoothing my cakes Smile
