Wedding cake

This was a very small wedding cake for a family friend who was getting married at city hall! Cake is covered in fondant with fondant swags. The roses are made out of gumpaste. After this cake, I'm ready to take on bigger wedding cakes. HOWEVER, if anyone can offer help on how to avoid that slight bulg in the bottom tier.....it would help me emencely! Thank you!

thank you very much. For the bottom tier, i used the wilton way of making swags that are in one of their class books, and the top tier i just made shorter. IF you need the measurements, i'd be glad to give them to you!

your roses and swags are beautiful! The bulge can be avoided by piping a butter cream dam just on the inside edge of your layer, using just a coupler and thickened butter cream. Also, let your stacked cake sit for several hours before covering with fondant so that it settles.
