This cake went to the Columbus Zoo! (very cool venue!) It is a 14, 12, 10 and 7" (3 layers in the 7") WASC (w/ raspberry filling) and choolate kahlua cakes - all buttercream, homemade choc. raspberry truffles for the topper. Bride had 3 cakes she liked, we took parts from each one to do this!
CSM - Interesting colour combo but I think you made it work here. Love your stripes on the top tier and very inpressed with your piping of the horizontal line!
Very interesting. Love how it turned out! I KNOW those truffles are good and my mouth is watering just looking at them! LOVE the periwinkle color...and yes, the zoo is an awesome place for a wedding reception!
CSM: Very unique colors, but your design incorporating is very good. Excellent straight lines indeed. (No elephant trunk to take a swipe at or a monkey to swing down and grab some cake! )
CSM- I am not a fan of her color combo choice, but hey thats her choice. Your dots are fab, and it looks like a great effort you put into all the dots and straight lines.
CSM: Not a fan of this at all! The flavors sound interesting and the color combo is not attractive to me but it's what the bride wanted. I do like the shade of purple and the corners on your tiers are nice and crisp and it looks like you pushed down your dots and that's a major plus!!!
