This is a close up of the fondant cabin, wagon and wood pile on the Little House in the Big woods cake for my daughter's book club. I had to make sure there were going to be enough trees so each girl could get one. Of course they all wanted the house and wagon! The cake is iced in buttercream. I intentionally did not smooth it so it would look a bit like snow drifts. Trees are royal icing on pretzels. stream is piping gel with fondant rocks. Snow on trees is powdered sugar with pearl dust.
