This is the smallest oval pan, cake is strawberry, bc- vanilla. I used a bat cutout which I traced onto the top of the cake then filled in and smoothed out. I made this little boy's first birthday cake too....thought that was neat! I am a CSM and as always, Thanks for looking!
CSM: great job. love the bright yellow behind the black. Nice job freehanding the bat. I also like how you offset the cake on the cake board. Nice writing, too!
CSM: That is some awesome freehanding! I really like the color choice as well! I see couple of places where the icing is bumpy and I also noticed the "Jo" part of Joziah is a little higher than the rest, but that is super picky.
CSM - this looks great. Wonderful idea to use the oval pan - it wouldn't have looked so good on a round cake. Wonderful job at incorporating the board into the design, not just a cake on a board.
CSM: I do like this cake. Oh it sounds yummy, too. Best of all, a repeat customer! Your bat is awesome! (Yeah, a little wobble on the Jo, but who cares), The board ties it all in like stars in the night.
CSM: What a fantastic job on the freehand batman logo. I really like your choice of doing this on an oval pan. Other than the "Jo" part there are no critiques from me. The whole cake came together great from the placement on the board, the colours, the logo, writing to the board itself. Great job!
CSM: Great cake-the use of an oval pan-brilliant! The board percectly compliments the cake, your printing is awesome...great cake, did I say that already?
