I made this 1st Birthday cake for my niece who was born a preemie a year ago --so this was a real celebration cake as there were days that were very iffy in the beginning!!! I based the design on the book: Princess Baby by Karen Katz. As well, her room is decorated in brown and pink toile, so the cake is my Triple Chocolate Decadence with strawberry buttercream.
