2008 Easter Stained Glass Cake
Firstly I need to thank saj_stuff for letting me "borrow" her idea/cake although I did use a different photo for my cake. And, secondly, I have to thank txkat for her recipe (Mimosa cake) which is what I used to make this cake. I freehanded the drawing w/ an edible black marker onto a frosting sheet, then applied it to the cake and used colored gels. Had I not run out of time I would have used black icing over my "lead" lines, but just couldn't get to with all the cooking I did also! Enjoy the view!

Thanks so much! Craftyone65, I colored piping gel with gel paste food colors and painted my icing sheet.
I love it! Looks exactly like a stained glass window.
