Antique Pearl

Antique Pearl on Cake Central

This is the other cake I entered in the Austin Capital Confectioners cake show this past weekend. This is my first major wedding cake. It is done in fondant with gumpast bow and flowers. The second tier up from the bottom is done in brushed embroidery. I was not sure that I was going to do well with this cake. The competition was tough. I was so excited to get first place for this cake as well in the intermediate class. I was shocked.

WOW! congrats, this is classic and contemporary. I'm usually not a fan of swags or draping but this has changed my mind. This is not your old fashioned draped cake. You are very talented.

I Love, LOVE the tier with the wide ribbon. This cake give the appearance of a wedding dress without hitting you in the face with it! Making a fav! Bouquet, Pearl necklace, bow, lace, and train!
