Helmet carved from 3 stacked 6x2" round layers of lemon poundcake. 18 guage wire facemask covered with fondant. Fondant pennant with the birthday boys' name in BC and fondant helmet accents. Luster dust with vodka for metallic gold. Helmet carved taller than needed, in anticipation of "smushing" when the fondant was applied.
