This is really screwy I typed in shop bakers nook . com and it came across as a cake central link......I'm confused. Try typing it in your browser and see if it works (no spaces)

I got this one to work, but it's just lustre dust, not mixed with anything.

I didn't either till yesterday but it is so shiny when you paint it on. And it's so much eaiser then mixing it and getting right consistency. It was $3.99 at my local supply store and I got all 3 colors plus I got pearl airbursh color. I haven't tried that yet but I'm hoping for a good outcome.

You need to mix it with vodka or everclear to use it in a airbrush. It needs to be very thin like airbrush color. I'm not sure mixing it with airbrush color would give you much of shine. You could try mixing a little in a cup and see how well it mixes and try painting it with a brush to see what kind of finish you get. I don't know if it would clog or not. HTH

I went on "Cakes By George" website and he gave the tip of using olive oil mixed with silver or Gold ..I tried it and it went on just like paint..beautiful everytime..a little bit of olive oil goes a long way..experiment, but that's all I use for all my gold or silver work..happy icing, C.

Do you use the regular or the extra virgin oil?
