Hi everyone,

I have a customer doing a baby shower and she wants little fondant alligators on each of her cupcakes (total of 36). I did a sample one that I have attached a pic of. Thanks for any advice you can give me!

I would say at least $5 or $6 per cupcake (with the alligator on top) if not more. Those little things are going to take a long time to make. Charge at least $3 for each alligator. It should really be more like $5 each probably.

He's so cute! I agree with cylstrial , at least $3 per alligator. They may be easy to make and small but around the 14th or 15th one you'll be wishing you had charged 10$ a piece!

I would charge at least $5 per cupcake with the alligator...How cute....Hopefully your client knows how time consuming this is and won't freak out over the cost...

That alligator is too cute! I have to do 50 baby shower cupcakes 25 fondant rubber duckies and 25 fondant bars of soap... I only charged $1 extra for each figure and I have a feeling I am going to regret that...

It definitely sounds like you should be charging more!
