Caramel Rose

Caramel Rose on Cake Central

This was made with the Wilton Stepsaving Rose Bouquet kit - from caramel candies! It was my very first attempt at a rose with these cutters, so it probably isn't the best example, but I thought it was pretty cool! Now I'm thinking about all the possibilities: I could make roses from starburst candies, tootsie rolls, bubble gum....! Thanks for looking!

Wow! 8O who would have thought that caramel would work for roses as well. Do you find that certain caramels work better than others. I know some can be very soft and sticky. Please let us know what you find works best for you. Thanks!

I just got the kit at Michael's. If you've ever taken the Wilton Course 3 class, the rose bouquet cutters are included in that kit.

This is such a pretty rose, what a great idea making it from candies. Good job. And good luck on practicing on other roses.
