Absolutely beautiful!! Is it covered with ganache? And are your flowers gumpaste?
It's actually Chocolate fondant, and the flowers are also fondant tinted pink. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your comments. It means alot to me ;-). I've been practicing some; every cake is the very first of it's kind. I'm hoping to establish a low key home business in the near future. Basically learning as I go, so I really appreciate your kind comments.
I love this cake!!! I showed it to my best friend (her fav colors are brown and pink) and now she wants it for her wedding (I told her she'll need to snag a man first) :D
Good point! Live in the Tri-state area? ;-)
I love it too ;-))) Pink and brown inside too ;-)
Did you make your own fondant?
No...this is pre-made chocolate fondant...I have bad wrists and the store bought products works very well...This chocolate one is really good...It's from Bakels.
Nice contrast between the chocolate and pink colors on this cake. It's very pretty!!
outstanding job! I saw you mention tri-state area...where? I am in Delaware
I'm from NYC, but was responding to a previous post. I figured I could deliver a cake in that area ;-)
BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the brown and pink - very "in" right now!
Wow! I think you have the knack for this. Goodluck with your business.
Thanks so much ;-)
Godiva, you do wonderful work. This looks great! I like the idea of doing it neopolitan. Keep it up and you'll easily have plenty of business.

gorgeous! ..where do you get Bakels choc. fondant?
Hmm...You can order it from kerekesequip.com, beryls.com or cakedeco.com. They would sell it along with regular white fondant...
I love this cake! I loved pink and brown colors!
Great cake! I love the flowers--the design is beautiful.
Godiva your cakes are so beautiful, how long have you been decorating? Are you self taught.
After the Wilton course in Nov. 03', I officially began March 04', with my "Lavender Delight" cake. And yes, I am mostly self taught. My instructor was not a good teacher, and I just made sure I learned how to work fondant! It's been quite an adventure since
I also love the pink and brown together!!
