I made this for my daughter's first birthday, which happens to be on Cinco de Mayo. It's chocolate cake with bc. I used 3-8" rounds and I baked the top layer in an 8" round casserole dish to get the dome effect. I was going to add rice noodles to get the look of cactus needles, but I totally ran out of time. I used a large plastic garden pot base as the cake board and filled it with crushed chocolate cookies with chocolate filling to look like the dirt. Not my best, but everyone liked it!
