Tropical-Themed Wedding Shower
I got this idea from the Wilton School Decorating Cakes book p.25. I used artificial flowers for the accents. This was my first 1/2 sheet cake - the icing cracked across the top after I was done with the cake & I'm not sure why. Any ideas?
Looks great!! If the crack was down the middle could have been from putting 2 1/4 sheets together to make a 1/2. It happens if they are not supported well enough.
No, it was just in the surface of the icing.
