Tama Drum Set

This is a cake we made at work, my boss and I worked together on it. It serves about 140 people. We had the maintenence guy build and paint the stand after we diagrammed it all out. The front drum has a hidden stand so that most of the cake is supported flat, and then there's a little cake underneath the stand. The cymbals are fondant. The logo, we cut it out of paper and airbrushed around it. It did bleed through a little. It was alot of work but we think the customer will be delighted.

LOVE IT!! Was just asked to make a drum set cake and wanted a stand up one. Can I ask if you can email me some instructions? Mine would be a much smaller scale but any help would be amazing. Thanks! ;-D

That's so awesome!!! What are the sizes of the cakes?

Kitagrl Says... 7 years ago

I'm pretty sure the smaller drums are 8", the large one is carved to, I think, 16".
