Bells And Whistle Cake (Back)

Bells And Whistle Cake (Back) on Cake Central

This is the back of the cake. The bells were representative of the nine zimblesterne bells on our church organ. The bells complete with swinging clappers were handmade from gumpaste and painted with gold petal dust. They were attached to gold wires so they would "ring". The cascade of rolled fondant was embossed with musical notes. The cake table was covered in pages of music for which Dame Wier is acclaimed.
