That is really pretty! I like the Border on the frame with the green dots. Very nice use of color.

I had to post on this one too! You did an amazing job! I love the boards, the smooth frosting, the very neat handwriting, and the flowers! Wish I could do that good when I try something for the first time hehe=)

I read your post about your SIL and HAD to take a look at your terrible cake. HUH?? It looks very professional! I really love your borders, and your flowers are lovely too. Right down to the complementary red board, it's a beautiful cake.

This is a beautiful cake. I love the flowers and the borders. The little green dots on the cake ties everythinng together without being too much. It is a cake you can be very proud of.

Your cake is very festive and a job well done. Sometimes I find the actions of the "outlaws" to be taken with a grain of salt. It is a beautiful cake and one YOU should be proud of. I can only guess who won't be getting another cake from you without being asked first.

I agree with everyone else, this is a very professional looking cake. You did an excellent job and if it was my family, they would've raved about it and taken pictures of it before they would even dream of cutting into it and serving it! Try not to let it get you down too much, some people just can't be pleased....and how sad that is for them, ya know? ;-D

What's not to love?? I don't get it. Your icing is smooth, your reverse shells are perfect, writing is awesome, and the flowers look great. I would tell your SIL to go pound sand!

I think it looks really nice! Heck and it was FREE!!! It looks just as good as anything she could've gotten in the grocery store - actually better - and I bet it tasted a LOT better. People who get stuff for free have no right to complain anyway.

I agree with everyone above. Your cake is spectacular. I can't believe you haven't had any lessons!!! To me, it sounds like your SIL was envious of your work & didn't want anyone to see how talented you are. Keep up the good work!!!

This cake is extremely well done. I have taken the Wilton's classes and your borders look as good if not better than my instructors (she's been decorating for 20 yrs)!! Wonderful job, be proud Butternut!!!

I'm so sorry you had to marry into a family with that sil, she's obviously jealous of your talent. This cake is perfect and a 'professonal bakery' would not have such a flawless border
