Pleats & Lillies

Pleated icing done on 3 tier wedding cake. Lillies placed to both sides of cake with strands of bear grass. Rum fruit with rum apricot glaze. All modelled in fondant, lillies done in florist paste. Drapers were dusted with pale gold luster dust. I also made the monogram topper as well.

Suzy 40 - I used pastillage which dried very hard. Once it was dried I used the same colour royal icing to hold letters in place. While it was drying I place something behind the letters to hold them in place. If you are going to give it a go, make sure you leave plenty of time so everything is firm & completely dry. :wink:
