3 Tier Offset Square Wedding Cake

This is definitely not one of my favorite cakes and I debated to even load the pic (that's how bad I didn't like this cake, lol) This was the brides choice of cake .. it was made exactly to her specifications .. icing was buttercream.. I used the super enhanced cake mix recipe from here .. flowers are fresh and again, the brides choice of flowers.. her colors were lavendar and silver.

This is from the bad bride? It's pretty but I don't like the uneven way she wanted it stacked. I bet your glad it's over!!! Good job Cheryl!!

hey tcturtleshell... I'm with you on this one .. I don't mind putting mixed shapes on a cake, but I just really hate when I have to turn in different angles like this one... this is exactly what the bride wanted so like my husband always tells me when I don't particularly care for cake design a bride wants, "they're paying you do to do what THEY want" and he's right .. even though I don't like it, the brides always do, so I guess that's all that really matters :)

ntertayneme, did you use an impression mat on the BC? I've been wanting to do this but don't have the mat. What is good to use to get those lines pressed in without cracking the BC - or do you do before it dries too much?

The cake is really nicely done! The flowers are a bit sad looking though, but not your fault at all!!
