Scenic Birthday

I made this cake for my mom's 65th birthday party. She said she wanted something scenic, so I did my best. I hand drew the picture, then transferred it onto the cake with a kopykake frosting sheet, and then filled design in with the gels that I mixed from cake dyes. Frosting is whipped, instead of buttercream. She Loved It!

After I drew the picture, I made a copy of it so I could lay the frosting sheet, (transfer sheet), on top of the copy, and traced it with food coloring pens. After that, I laid it on the frosted cake, and filled it in with gels. Thanks for all the comments!
