Hot Chocolate Mug Cake
So, this is my first attempt at MMF. It's chocolate cake, covered in buttercream, then MMF. Everything is MMF except the "cocoa". I wanted to make a mug and probably should have used another layer to make it taller, but since it was a practice cake i didn't want to have to make more cake!!! anyway, I gave it to my mom to take to work, the ladies in her office enjoyed it. Although I'm still not a big fan of the taste of MMF, better than regular fondant but no where near buttercream!

What did you use to make the handle? By the way it is adorable!
the handle is just fondant, i attached it with a toothpick and some royal icing. A doughnut cut in half and iced in buttercream makes a great handle, it's the perfect shape. and i would have done that but we didn't have any doughnuts handy!
