A Song Of Celebration

my very first contest, for our county fair yesterday. theme was celebration, so i chose to go with the writing of our national anthem. the top is fort mchenry being attacked by the british ship. the "rockets" are wire with royal icing, fondant stripes and banner, piping gel water, gumpaste stars and ship. fort walls were burgandy, not purple like the photo makes it look like. i took second place.
