Turkey Sugar Cookies On A Stick

Turkey is done in royal icing with the leaf tip for the feathers. I saw a cake similar to this design on here (can't remember where, but thank you to the person who gave me the inspiration for this) and I adjusted the design. I made 3 dozen for my son's kindy class and a few for my older kids to take for their friends. They were a pretty big hit too.

Thanks. Yes, they thought they were fun. It was kind of funny because a few of the kids started making turkey noises and playing w/them and the teacher had to "remind" them that they were still at school and should behave as such :)

What a cranky teacher. It is always funny...kids don't just eat their food, they live it.

True. Even my older kids got a kick out of these. I figured, if they are playing w/them, then I did a good job creating something realistic looking for them.
