great cake! love the colors. the bulge used to be a problem for me too...after filling the cake let it sit for 1/2 hour and let gravity do it's job, then frost it.

Cute cake! mine tend to bulge also so I've tried to not fill so full and about 1/2 inch from edge.

That's just it....I did a light layer of filling and it was a good 1/2 inch from the edge. That's why I'm confused.
