Banfi For Mom
This is my mother in law's birthday cake that I literally whipped up last night for dinner tonight. The cake itself was a dark chocolate fudge cake with amaretto espresso IMBC filling, vanilla IMBC frosting and chocolate fondant overlay. The board was made to look like an old hard wood floor. Fondant leaves and gumpaste grapes completed the look. The bottle was a replicate of the Banfi Col di Sasso wine. The vintage year is actually my mother in law's birth year. This was definitely a fun cake! Thanks!
