I decided on the 4th to make this cake and take it to the party. I started baking the cake at about 7:30 AM. About 15 minutes into baking the cake the power went out and did not come back until 11AM. I decided to leave the cake in the oven and not open it. Hoping it would bake evenly...luckly it did. It probably took about 2- 2.5 hours to cook since the oven was loosing its temp but all turned out well in the end. It was a DH Butter Cake with Cheesecake Mousse filling with BC icing.
