Not a very good picture, but this was my attempt at Collette Peter's witch hat cake. It was a lot of fun to do and everyone was wowed by it. It was a bit more difficult to do than what her instructions said. My husband ended up having to drive a dowel up the bottom of the cake to the top. She had no dowels in this cake at all. The very top is styrofom. The bats were on wire stuck into the styrofom through to the cake, but it still did not stay without a dowel.
