2 Tier Wedding Cake With Roses, Gumpaste Forget Me Nots And Lattice Piping
For a small evening wedding tonight, with pink and white as the colors. Flowers and greenery were from the couple's garden and I just placed them where they looked the best. (Beautiful gardens BTW). The tablecloth was light pink, but it didn't show up very well. (Still in love with my black fabric background. Can't even tell this is in a home can you!?!) White cake with buttercream icing, fondant blossoms.

you did a beautiful job, were your flowers made out of royal?
momtospunkynbug- the wedding and reception were in their home, flowers from their garden. The groom held up the black fabric for me!
I do alot with rose peddles - but I love the way you've designed them :D

This is very pretty! Are the pink flowers real? Great job!!
brwntab & RkRamirez- The flowers acting as the topper are fresh, as are the petals. The blossoms attached to the cake are fondant.
Very elegant!!! Beautiful!!!
Amazing!
Beautiful design.
very pretty... lovely design. I like the idea of the scattered petals but wondered about them being directly on the edible part of the cake.. did you do something special before placing them on?
dky, roses are an edible flower so as long as there are no pesticides and they are rinsed clean it is perfectly safe to place them directly on the cake. Thanks for looking.
Beautiful design! Love the lattice and flowers on the bottom tier - really eye catching!
