Final Cake.. Course 3
This is my final cake for course 3. I had intended to do all buttercream but I could not get the corners smooth First time ever using a square pan. So I ended up covering in fondant. I was going for an elegant look. I missed the first class so I never learned to do the fondant rose and I had trouble with my royal icing so the roses are buttercream (still have trouble with them). I am very happy with the results of the cake. Completed this last night and I won't let my family cut it. lol.
You succeeded that is definitely elegant.

I love your foundant. I've been doing cakes for three years and last night I made my first batch of MMF. Was it hard to do the square cake corners??? You did a great job on your roses, your lace work and your foundant.
