That's lovely, I actually had plans to make a drum cake for my brothers birthday, although I was thinking more along the lines of a snare. what are the silver parts? how did you make the drunsticks?

This is beatiful. Great job, how did you make the Pearl logo and the drumsticks? I would love to make one for my nephew.

The silver parts are hand molded using gumpaste and the thin little rods on the sides are spaghetti. I used silver luster dust mixed with lemon extract to get the silver color. The logo was painted on a piece of gumpaste.
