Golden Fall Fruits

This sheet cake was done for a small local wedding reception for a couple who lived and had married out-of-town. The scroll plaque is GP, the edges brushed with gold luster dust. The fruits - seckel pears, lady apples and grapes - are fresh and sugared with gold sanding sugar. The leaves are real grape leaves, washed, dried and brushed with gold luster dust. All the decor is BC.

How in the world did you keep the stripe of red in your icing bag from wearing out? It's so consistent!!! Did you use one of those special bags designed for two colors?
