Eye Cakeball Truffels

I got the idea for these from CC and thought it would be great for a party I was invited to. I had been saving cake scraps from the last couple of cakes I did. The green eyes are vanilla carmel cake with cream cheese, the blue eyes are german chocolate cake with cream cheese, and the yellow eyes are carmel chocolate cake with cream cheese with pecans. They were a big hit.

the cake balls were made by putting the cake in my mixer and adding a tablespoon of cream cheese untill it came together. Rolled in to balls .Then I dipped them in white candy melts and used red candy melts to add the veins with a toothpick. I put them in the fridge for a while and added eye colors with more colored melts and a paint brush then came back and painted the black in with candy food color. Oh and the yellow ones I got a little nutty and added pecans. mmmmmmmmmmm those were my favs
