This was a small wedding cake with fondant leaves, pumpkins and acorns. I just love the fall colors. I hope I get to do a larger version of this cake some day. Thanks for looking.
Great job. I am baking a cake for a wedding rehearsal this Sat. and the hostess wants fall colors with white icing. I did buy organic edible small flowers in orange and pale green which are small. I thought of leaves but didn't know how do prepare them at all.. MMF huh? Is it hard to tint? What colors did you use?
I don't care for MMF so I don't use that. The colors are lemon yellow, orange and moss green. The fondant is not hard at all to tint. Just knead the color in, takes a second. Good luck with your cake this weekend. Thank you for your sweet comments!

Wow, Wendy, you've been busy lately! Great work on everything! Great colors on your leaves, too.
Absolutely beautiful! I love the colors, and the scrollwork. And great job on smoothing the icing - it looks fantastic!
Beautiful cake. Love the leaves.
I've never done anything with fondant. I have a fall birthday cake to make and am considering fondant. Any hints on flavoring it?
