Vergerated Blues

Another one of my signature cakes is the vergerated -- this one in blue, but I have one in burgundy to cream -- and deep orange to light yellow -- I love the effect -- these have to be an even number of cakes. 6 tiers works best -- starting at the bottome with the darkest color going to the top which is the lightes -- and then decorating from teh top with the darkest, ending up with the lightest on bottom --

I just love these

wow so simple and yet so elegant! It reminds me of a waterfall...and it would be so neat to use this vergerated blue style w/ a beach themed cake - w/ little white seashells and such! awesome

This is pretty. Can you or someone in this group please tell me how to make a colbolt blue? I've been asked to make a weeding cake for March and the brides colors are colbolt blue. I'm not even sure I'm spelling it right.... all your help highly appriciated.
