I made this cake just to try some new cake/icing recipes, gumpaste flowers and other techniques. I found the non-crusting buttercream to be quite difficult to work with. The recipe (buttercream dream) tastes wonderful however, I think I will add some merinque powder next time to make it easier to work with. Thanks for looking.
