Lemon Sour Cream
baked this cake for a friend who was promoted @ work. He wanted a lemon flavored cake so I baked the lemon variation to the WASC cake and iced with lemon buttercream. Nothing fancy, but very lemony :) Didn't have much success with the roses. For some reason, I couldn't get them to sit very high... they seem kind of flat, but overall, I'm happy with the cake.
This is so pretty and nostalgic looking--reminds me of my Granny's chenille bedspread
Thanks jen, I didn't think of that, but now that you mention it, it does look like chenille....I used to love those kind of bedspreads when I was a kid... my friend had a white one with lavender flowers and lots of green leaves that I used to adore... I know, sounds crazy now... but oh well :) Thanks for the memories too!! :princess:
