Practice Cake - Football

This is a practice cake i did this weekend. I recently got my very first cake order for a birthday cake for a woman's husband who is a Chicago Bears fan and I wanted to see if I could do a football helmet cake that I could offer to her as a cake choice. This cake is funny because it is a hodgepodge of different cake batters that I had frozen. The globe top of the cake if banana chocolate chipe, middle is vanilla and bottom is devil's food.

It's actually not that hard to do - it is a 1/2 ball pan on top of a 2-layer, 6 inch cake and then I sculpted while it was frozen.
