This looks GREAT! How did you get the fondant to work like that on the bottom tier??
i think it looks amazing. Your colors match the candle perfectly! I plan on doing one similiar to this soon with a different theme. How do you get the stripes so evenly spaced?
I rolled the MMF out and cut them with a knife. Just eyed it. And I tried to get them to match the candle as much as possible.
Please share your technique on the bottom tier for the fondant. Very nice!
Thank you. I don't know what part of the bottom you want to know about. For the stripes, I just cut strips and pasted them on. For the drape, I just cut a flower shape and then the ruffly part is actually BC.
I think you did a spectacular job on this one! I can't believe it's only your 2nd time working with fondant or that you think you need a lot of work!!! This cake looks amazing! So well done! From the ball border, to the stripes, to the pink canopy and all the way up past those beautiful strawberries to the 'Main Berry', herself!!
